A return to something familiar, with more of everything that mattered.
The Second Annual Wine Down didn’t try to outdo itself. It didn’t need to. With nearly double the attendance of our inaugural year, this gathering became one of the most anticipated moments on the calendar for Central Coast wedding professionals—and for good reason.
Held once again at The Penny SLO, the evening was equal parts industry reset and private celebration. What began as a quiet gathering for connection has become something that feels essential: a space to step away from the pace of production and into something slower, warmer, and better lit.
WINDING DOWN WITH WEDDING PROS
There was no formal programming. No content schedule. Just time, presence, and the kind of conversation that makes staying late feel natural.
DESSERT BUT BETTER
Sweet Creations by Issa delivered a dessert experience that felt charming, unexpected, and totally fresh. Ice cream was scooped to order from a custom mobile cart, and every flavor was as carefully curated as the guest list.
THE BAR
Daring to Dream Events brought more than mixology. With Brian behind the bar, the experience became personal. Guests lingered, caught up between perfect pours, and found themselves in conversations that didn’t feel transactional. Brian truly has a way with connecting with guests in the most authentic way!

Daring to Dream Events returned, once again setting the tone with effortless hospitality. Brian and his team know how to read a room, and the cocktails reflected that. As always, they go above and beyond for our events!
TOLOSA FEATURE
Tolosa poured with presence and our vendors LOVED it. The evening’s featured wine was provided by Tolosa Winery bringing a rooted-in-place feel to every glass. Local, refined, and perfectly paired with the tone of the night. They presented their packages and private event details with our guests and members.
THE SOUNDTRACK OF THE NIGHT
DJ Pete and DJ John of Music Makers DJ Service kept the energy dialed in all night. And yes, we closed with our signature round of line dancing — a subtle nod to the thousands of weddings we live and breathe each year.
THIS ONE FELT DIFFERENT
Bigger, yes—but not louder. More attended, but not more crowded. The Second Annual Wine Down proved what we’ve known since the first: when the right people show up for the right reasons, you don’t need much else. Thank you to those who made the space feel intentional and beautiful in all the ways that count.
