Flowers by Kim

Luther Burbank, an American botanist, and pioneer in agricultural science said that, “ Flowers make people better, happier and more helpful; (because) they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul”

Angelique Nuinez believes that is true.  That, in large part is why she is a florist. That is why she spends 50-60 hours a week designing and creating arrangements large and small for weddings and many of life’s other celebratory events. She is dispensing “sunshine, food and medicine for people’s souls.” 

Angelique is a Paso Robles girl, born and raised on the Central Coast In 2012, at age 16 with the encouragement of her FFA instructor Angelique went to work for Kim Lahargou the founder and owner of Flowers by Kim, the premier floral company in San Luis Obispo County.

In 2021, after having been mentored by Kim for nine years and earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Angelique assumed ownership of Flowers by Kim.  

She now manages and mentors ten employees of her own, together they create the floral masterpieces that enhance every special occasion; among those are 70-to 80 weddings a year.

Angelique is incredibly sweet, smart, humble, and talented.  She loves decorating people’s lives with nature’s beauty and will enhance any celebration with her floral masterpieces.
