
Code of Ethics
- Promote good will between the client and wedding industry
- Promote good will between fellow members
- Hire and train the most professionals staff available
- Treat each client fairly and honestly, providing all contracted services in a timely manner
- Use honest and factual advertising
- Have a personal sense of obligation to each individual client
- Do whatever necessary to make sure that the event is a success
- Operate a business that is a credit to the organization and the community
- Do not offer or accept monetary compensation (kickbacks) for referrals or recommendations
Membership Requirements
- Must be in business for at least two years at the time of application
- Provide written contract to all clients
- Cooperate with CCWP activities and efforts to promote and improve the professionalism of the wedding and event industry
- Respond rapidly and honestly to any complaints received by the CCWP board
- Adhere to the CCWP Code of Ethics and cooperate with CCWP policies and procedures
- Use the CCWP name and logo in advertising whenever possibly
- Pay any CCWP bill in a timely manner
- Attend one general meeting or showcase per year, and a minimum of one general meeting, showcase, satellite meeting or board meeting per quarter as well.
