When it comes to your wedding ceremony a good officiant can make or break the flow, mood and overall feeling of the ceremony.  Avow Ceremonies is experienced (with over 500 weddings!) in all types of ceremonies from religious to non-religious, families with different ethnic backgrounds, couples young and old and everything in between.  Rick is a retired pastor and loves sharing in his couple’s celebration of their commitment to each other.  He is great at catering to his couple’s style and creating a ceremony that fits their wedding, and he’s a good-looking guy to have in all your pictures!  Here are some quick and fun facts about Rick with Avow Ceremonies:

He has been in business for over 25 years and has officiated over 500 weddings!

He loves what he does and has a passion for people.  He loves to be a part of his couple’s commitment to each other.

One of his many favorite memories at a wedding is having the USC Trojan Marching Band play the processional at the wedding ceremony!

One of the funniest things that has ever happened to him at a wedding ceremony is receiving the rings from R2-D2.  (Literally the Star Wars character!  Both the bride and groom worked for Disney.)

When asked what advice he has for couples planning their wedding day he says to choose vendors that you mesh well with personality-wise and that you are confident in their professionalism.

When working with Rick you can truly see he cares about his couples and loves what he does.  He takes the time to get to know his couples so he can create a ceremony that suits their personalities and is meaningful and memorable to them.

Rick is also a great resource if you’re looking for pre-marital and marital counseling, and can perform vow renewals and celebrations of life as well!  He really is an amazing choice as an officiant and represents what CCWP stands for!
