Each month, I will turn the "spotlight" on a Central Coast Wedding Venue. The Central Coast has it all—whether you are seeking elegant & sophisticated, rustic & romantic, ocean & sand or completely off the charts such as a Hearst Castle wedding, look no further. I will deliver the highlights of each central coast wedding venue along with photos from the fabulous CCWP photographers.
This month, I am feeling a bit nostalgic and decided to highlight a Central Coast wedding venue with quite a past: The historic Paso Robles Inn . This particular venue has a rich history that will give your guests something to talk about. Wouldn’t it be fun to print some “facts” about the Paso Robles Inn to decorate your table tops at dinner? You definitely won’t have awkward silences or lack of table topics during your reception!
The Paso Robles Inn was built in 1864 (known as the El Paso de Robles Hotel at the time) and featured a popular hot
mineral springs bathhouse. Over the years, it was remodeled several times and completely re-built at one point however, one thing remained consistent: the healing hot springs bathhouse was one of the most elegant in the nation rivaled only by similar venues in Europe. In 1913, the hotel was visited by the world famous Ignace Paderewski who eventually lived at the famous inn. During the next 30 years, the hotel was visited by other notables, including boxing champion Jack Dempsey, US president Theodore Roosevelt, Adela Rogers St. Johns, Phoebe Apperson Hearst and actors Douglas Fairbanks, Boris Karloff, Bob Hope, and Clark Gable.
Are you seeking wedding venues on the Central Coast that have a rich
history and unique story? The Paso Robles Inn has everything you are looking for and it embodies a natural beauty perfect for your special day. The truly romantic setting provides a stunning backdrop for your pictures and has so much to offer. The venue, with luscious flower gardens, mighty oaks, a babbling brook and perfectly manicured lawns can accommodate weddings up to 250 people. There are a few different options when it comes to your reception site. Gather your party on the outdoor patio with the majestic oaks overhead or plan an elegant affair inside the Grand Ballroom. No matter what your style, the Paso Robles Inn can accommodate your wishes.
