http://www.ccwp.com/ – Sunday, January 15, 2012 – The Embassy Suites in San Luis Obispo hosts the 17th Annual Central Coast Wedding & Special Events Faire, open to all, but specifically designed for brides-to-be looking to plan the bulk of their weddings in a single day under one roof.
More than 1/3 of brides spend between 9 and 12 months planning their wedding, typically spending their time researching vendors, finding available providers and coordinating event logistics and transportation. All Central Coast Wedding & Special Events Faire vendors are Central Coast Wedding Professionals members.
The organization, which was founded in 1992, requires members to have been in business for more than two years, get referred by a current CCWP member and be endorsed by a minimum of four couples who have used their services for their own San Luis Obispo weddings.
Attendees can visit booths showcasing wedding photographers, DJ’s, caterers, event lighting, coordinators, rental agencies, florists and bakeries and over 100 qualified local wedding professionals in one location, and plan their wedding in a single day without having to drive all over the county or make a bunch of phone calls.
“All vendors are San Luis Obispo area wedding professionals familiar with local wedding venues and reception sites, and have experience working together to create the very best wedding experience possible,” said CCWP President Mike Foley. “This event makes the entire wedding experience easy, from planning to clean up.”
Entrance at the door is $10 per person or $15 per bridal couple. Brides can preregister as Very Important Brides and enjoy an hour of complimentary beverages and snacks while getting helpful tips from the wedding faire concierge, and receive a VIB bag of goodies from CCWP members.
